1988-1993

In April of 1988, while serving God faithfully the mandate was given to Patricia and Alvin Stanley that they would become pastors.  Having served almost 17 years in various ministerial and leadership capacities during their Christian journey, shortly after the completion of their assignment as Elders at 1st Assembly of God church in Goldsboro, North Carolina in December 1993, they were led by God to relocate in Warner Robins, Georgia.  After several months of Bible Study in their home, Patricia and Alvin believed it was time for the growing group to step out and begin public meetings.

2010-2012

On Sunday, October 10, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Pastors Patricia and Alvin Stanley held their first official worship service in the McIntyre Building of the Warner Robins Recreation Center located at 800 Watson Boulevard. Shortly after a weekly Bible Study was established at the Alex Ferguson Memorial Park Building at 471 Elberta Road also located in Warner Robins.  Patricia and Alvin received their official installation into the pastoral office on August 1, 2011, by Bishop Ernest Carradine Jr. of Saginaw, Texas.

In October of 2010, Patricia and Alvin accepted the call of God on their lives to the pastoral office and gave birth to the ministry of “For His Glory Christian Center”, a church located in Warner Robins, Georgia.  At that time God placed a pastoral grace upon their lives and they began to fulfill the first phase of their ministry. On August 28, 2010, For His Glory Christian Center applied for their Certificate of Incorporation with the State of Georgia.  On March 12, 2012, the church was awarded its 501c3 exemption status as a public charity group.

2012-Present

One of the most important components of FHGCC’s vision is to worship God, to teach and train born again believers to know who they are in Jesus Christ and fulfill their destiny.  In obedience to God and fulfilling His mandate over our lives, our mission is to impact our world through the Word of God, changing, charging and challenging their belief system, that they might come to know the True God their Creator, to pursue Him while fulfilling their purpose.

One of the church's first group ministries to support her mission is the Women of Worth (W.O.W.) ministry aka “Girls Talk”, serving women across the region.  Recently, another ministry to younger women was birth at the campus of Fort Valley State University called, “Butterfly Glory” under the leadership of one of our covenant members.

Pastors Patricia and Alvin Stanley have been called and appointed to the work of the ministry in God’s kingdom for such a time as this.  Because of God’s grace, favor and the pastoral mantle on their lives, many people have been miraculously transformed all For His Glory!!!
